The Asia-Pacific is the network center of many supply and value chains. In this public lecture, the speaker will discuss various recent economic, public policy and business studies related to production chains in the region. He will compare the characteristics and trends of various supply chains in East Asia, Latin America as well as South Asia. He will also highlight different implications of these international networks of production and trade. Insights will be drawn from the speaker!|s work experiences with many international organizations such as the OECD, WTO, BIS, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, the Bank of Finland as well as experiences with several national government agencies.
