Mr. Edmond Lai Shiao-bun, Chief Digital Officer of Hong Kong Productivity Council, will first share his views on the topic of “Hong Kong’s Reindustrialization: Challenges and Opportunities”, followed by an open discussion among participants moderated by Professor Heiwai Tang, Associate Director of HIEBS.
About the Speaker – Mr. Edmond Lai
Joined HKPC in 2018, Edmond spearheads digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 4.0, plus reindustrialisation through advanced manufacturing. Previously with General Electric for 20+ years, his experience covered information technology, internal audit and finance functions with assignments in Asia Pacific, Europe, Greater China and United States across plastics, healthcare, capital, power, aviation, transportation industries.
Edmond held both commercial and business roles with regional or global responsibilities for rail, mining, renewable energy, marine, energy storage, thermal power generation industries, with hands-on leadership in digital transformation and products development for sizeable organisations.
